Hello everyone!
Wow. A humongous THANK YOU to everyone who played and rated our game during the 2022 GMTK Game Jam! Thanks to all your love and support, we won and landed a place in the top 20. We really couldn't have done it without you!
As fun as our jam build was, we knew it could be better. So, on top of Post-Jam Version #1 which we uploaded yesterday, we've just uploaded Post-Jam Version #2 with tons of updates and bug fixes. We hope you enjoy this newly polished version of DIEmunition!
UPDATES:
- Tweaked balancing to allow for longer survival
- Tweaked spawn rates of different types of dice
- Your bullets now shoot through landed dice (enemies could already do this, so we wanted to make it fair for players)
- Shot dice now hurt enemies if it falls on them
- You can now use your double jump after you've landed on acid
- You can now use your double jump after walking off a platform
- Added crosshair
- Added small indicator above crosshair showing how many bullets you have
- Smoother dice roll animation
- Added splash screen and team logo
- SFX volume adjustments
BUG FIXES:
- Nuke now hurts all enemies
- Kills from the nuke now add to your score
- Can use any dice if you are standing on it while its falling
- Dead enemies no longer block bullets
- Fixed visual bug where two dice flicker if you were standing between them
